Road Trip!
We took the puppies on their first overnight road trip and spent the weekend in Santa Ynez! Hooray for dog-friendly hotels and wineries! 🙂
First Hike!
The pups finally have all of their vaccinations, so we can take them out to explore the world! First stop – a short hike at one of our favorite nearby parks – Tuna Canyon.
First Walk
Duke and Zuma went on their first official walk today! I took them out separately, since I wasn’t quite sure what to expect (see this post from the other day!). And I’ve also read that littermates should spend some time apart during the first few months to help prevent separation anxiety.

Both of them did a great job walking on the leash and had no problem tackling the steep hills around our house.
Duke made sure to stop a few times along the way to check out the view. 🙂
